The Dreamer’s Promise (Revised November 2025)
I revised my Paige Mahoney illustration, since I loved the composition, but wasn’t happy with my earlier color work. The overreliance on blending modes made the colors too intense and muddy for me.
So for my revision, I stripped down all the colors, removed lots of details to have a clearer focal point, and simplified the coloring into blockier shapes. I am a lot happier with it this way. A survey I did on my Instagram account, however, showed no clear favourite: 50% of voters loved my earlier version, the other half preferred the revised version.

This is my original rendition of The Dreamer’s Promise. My intention with this illustration was to show Paige Mahoney’s fierceness, as she stands among her poppies.
Bone Season Manga (July 2024)
I fiercly love manga - the way the page is set up, the artistry behind the paneling, to just name a few aspects. So I wanted to try it myself and devise a manga page of the Bone Season quote “Nothing’s worse than a story without an end.”
Just imagine, how beautiful a manga of this series would be (and how long!).
